The list of MP Candidates contesting for Congress Party from the state of Andhra Pradesh for 2009 parliament Elections has been released.

Most of the sitting MPs ( Members of parliament) were cleared in the list. Manda Jagannadam was given nagarkurnool seat, Purandare swari is given visakhapatnam, chittoor to Tippeswamy, Narsapuram to K.Bapiraju, panabaka laxmi to bapatla, Peddapalli to G.Vivek in place of G. venkataswamy and Nalgonda to G.Sukhender reddy.

How to verify about your name in the voters list? Andhra Pradesh Election commission arranged a toll free number 1100 for the benefit of voters. New voter identification programme is going on full swing across Andhra Pradesh. They will take photos at your home and issue voter identity cards. AP Election commission is planning to complete the distribution of photo identity cards for all the eligible voters by the end of August. You can confirm about your name by calling 1100 toll free number. They are also planning to put voters lists at banks, post offices, E-Seva centres and other important places.
